TEMPORARY RESIDENCE

A temporary resident is a foreign national who is legally allowed to enter and remain in New Zealand for a specified time period.

 

 

To qualify as a temporary resident, The foreign national must satisfy an immigration officer at a New Zealand Port of Entry that they hold a visa or other documents required under the regulations and will leave New Zealand by the end of the period authorized for their stay.
